Our Ring Panel Air Filters are 3-Ply Polyester bonded with a fire retardant binder. They are manufactured with an internal 9 gauge wire grid support. These DRY Ring Panel Air Filters are Blue tinted on the air exit side with an antimicrobial adhesive to ensure filtering finer particles of dust and allergens. Filter media is moisture repellant and suitable for use in temperatures up to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. These filters approach or exceed the MERV 8 performance and service life of air filters. They solve the problem of air and dirt passing between the air filter and the supporting frame, with a self-sealing edge. The overlapping media is furled against the frame, acting as a gasket, by the sturdy ring in a snug compression fit. Air is forced to pass through the filter media rather than bypassing the filter at the edges of the frame. The friction-fit frames can often eliminate the need for extra mounting hardware.
